I have worked in London for over 25 years working in various industries and have been employed in roles such as Administrator, Clerical Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Data Entry and Reception work, gradually moving up to PA, Executive Assistant/Office manager roles. One of my most enjoyable roles was working at the University of Westminster for 11 years, which gave me the most fulfilment. Working with great people is always a bonus. Working in education was always busy with no two days being the same, where you had to remain flexible to keep up with the demands of the faculty.Having done this for so long, I thought what have I got to lose by working for myself, so I decided to set up my own Virtual PA service. So here I am doing it!I have experience working in different environments and industries, all of which were multi-cultural. I have met people from all walks of life and understand there can be cultural and personality differences, as well as language barriers, all of which may be good or bad, but I have learnt to adapt and become resilient along the way. Communication is key in any environment and necessary in order to build strong relationships with the people and stakeholders you work with, as well as in everyday life.Right now, people will be wearing too many hats and can lose their focus – this is where I come in. I have numerous skills and can offer my services to companies or individuals who need help, leaving them free to focus on their priorities instead of being consumed with administration work. We no longer need to sit in an office, we can work from the comfort of our homes and still meet targets and as we have all witnessed. It is possible to do so long-term.
