I worked as a textile designer at Renuka Inc; a textile company exporting bedding, kitchen linen and drapery fabrics to stores like Restoration Hardware, Serena & Lily, Front Gate, Ballard, Soft Surroundings, and many others. My main role was to design collections for these brands and develop prints, patterns, and surface embellished products according to trend and season. I was responsible for preparing mood boards, tech packs furthermore coordinating and following up with suppliers and product design team.

Nurjehan is a textile company retailing and exporting bedding, kitchen linen and drapery fabrics in the US and UK majorly. I gained valuable experience during my internship working on creating designs for their Tendence'16 fair, clients specific briefs, product conceptualization under the design head. I created prints, patterns, and surface embellished cushions and technique swatches for their library. I also helped with photoshoots and VM for their retail Nur. It gave me a lot of practical knowledge of the design industry and its working that I was able to carry forward in my work.
