Apostolos Apostolakis is an Electrical and Computer Engineer and a PhD candidate – researcher at microSENSES laboratory at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of West Attica. He holds a M.Eng Dipl. of Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree from the Technical University of Crete. As a part of his Diploma Thesis, he was member of Microelectronics group, and he completed his Diploma Thesis supervised by Associate Prof. Matthias Bucher. His research interests span the development of flexible and printed electronic devices, development of printed sensors on flexible substrates, study of materials suitable for the manufacture of flexible electronics and development of inkjet-printed field-effect transistors devices (FETs). He also has a strong theoretical and computational background in mathematics and statistics.
