HCPS is a PK-12 public education school system that has 55 schools, serving approximately 40,000 students and employing approximately 7,000 people. The Board of Education is an independent state agency responsible for the $800m budgets, strategy, governance, and oversight of Harford County's public schools.

Reported to the CEO and a member of the executive leadership team, held general management responsibilities, leading 5 functions: marketing, vendor relations, training, government relations, and international sales.• Marketing: led a team responsible for comprehensive marketing (4 Ps and 3 Cs), branding, communications, and tradeshows and events. Conducted about 75 trade shows and events per year. • Vendor relations: led a team responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hundreds of vendors and manufacturers, including 60 core vendors. Entered new markets of C4ISR, MRO, Tactical, and Life Sciences. • Training: led a team responsible for over 800 training classes per year, all around the world. Operated in EUCOM, including Bosnia and Herzegovina (1996), to assist in rebuilding the region’s governmental and physical infrastructure and to coordinate numerous civilian aide projects.
