As the Director of a military-focused travel company, I successfully led the certification and development of a comprehensive web and app-based travel start-up. I managed all aspects of the travel agency, including ticketing and reservation processes, customer service, troubleshooting, agent training, and communication with carriers and suppliers.

As the founder of the first-to-market online travel platform dedicated to serving the military community, I was instrumental in developing a robust airline booking engine that accesses the Global Distribution System (GDS) to identify military fare class tickets. My team and I worked tirelessly to create a user-friendly platform that simplifies travel booking for military families, offering exclusive military discounts.With a deep understanding of the travel challenges faced by military families, I am committed to making travel easier and more affordable for them. Since 2005, my company has proudly supported the military community, providing the resources they need to make their travel dreams a reality.

I am proud to have served in the Marine Corps from March 1996 to 2007, both as an enlisted member and as an officer. I started my military career as a helicopter crew chief on UH1N helicopters before transitioning to an accounting officer and then a communications officer. I was commissioned as an officer in 1998 and was mobilized for active duty from 2006 to 2007, during which time I honed my skills and made valuable contributions to the Corps. I was honorably discharged as a Major of Marines, proud of my service and the experiences I gained while serving.During my time in this role, I worked closely with a joint-task force, contributing to the writing of both classified and unclassified case summaries in conjunction with the State Department, Department of Justice, and other federal agencies. My unique blend of experience as both an enlisted member and an officer has given me a well-rounded perspective on the military and the impact it has on those who serve.

As the founder of a unique alternative to payday lending, I have dedicated myself to improving the financial wellness of credit union members and military service members. By offering a responsible solution for short-term cash flow needs, I have helped to increase the usage of credit unions among those who may have otherwise turned to nontraditional financial instruments.My approach to this mission includes a focus on financial counseling, as well as providing incentives for on-time repayment, including an increase in the member's internal credit score. Additionally, I introduced a savings program, which starts with loan fee rebates for those who make timely payments.With a passion for empowering individuals to take control of their financial futures, I am proud to have made a positive impact on the lives of so many through this innovative program.
