Since 1994, I have been involved in one way or another with Intellectual Property. Engineering has always been of interest to me and so I was fortunate to be able to attend one of the best engineering training programs in the United States at the University of South Florida, graduating in 2005 with my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). Concurrently, I was working at Washington Patent Services in Tampa (Florida) as a principal manager, conducting patent searches ranging from patentability to infringement and validity searches. Shortly after earning my BSME, I passed the National Patent Bar Exam to become a Registered U.S. Patent Agent and opened International Patent Group, LLC (IPG). It was through IPG that I started working with Applied Patents Inc (API) and 21 years later, in 2022, I became the owner principal. At API, we are foreign patent specialists. The nuances of each International Patent Office is of special interest to me and I enjoy the challenge of working a global market. And as a multiple patent holder myself, I know how important it is to be strategic and knowledgeable in how commercial aspects are addressed and bring my expertise to all my clients.
