I am the CEO and Chief Scientist at Mobius Labs ( http://www.mobiuslabs.com ) where we make GenAI models cheaper, quicker to use, and economically viable. Our product is a super-efficient, affordable, open-source, fully multimodal AI stack that costs five times less end-to-end. Prior to founding Mobius Labs I was Head of R&D at EyeEm, where I led a team of top computer vision researchers from Europe, solving various visual classification and ranking problems. The group focused on algorithmic and machine learning innovations that were translated into products that solved photographers' problems. I also co-founded sight.io, where we developed technology to rate images based on computational aesthetics. sight.io was acquired by EyeEm in March 2014. Prior to this I was a postdoc at The Image and Visual Representation Group (IVRG), EPFL in Lausanne and also held a postdoc position at Computer Vision Lab (CVLAB). I hold a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, was a visiting scholar in computer vision at Monash University and have a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
