Hi, I'm April, GM and Co-Owner of ORTHOWORLD Inc.I began my career with ORTHOWORLD in 1999 in the most entry-level position. Over time, I engineered myself into administrative, operations, sales management, product development, new business development and marketing positions. In 2008 I took the helm at the onset of a global financial crisis, political instability/uncertainty, the rise of social media, and a smartphone revolution. The experience was intense and filled with wins and losses. I found my footing and discovered that aspects of my personality were a good match for business and leading. Over the next few years, while honing my skills and learning about myself, I led the company's transition from a strategic services firm into a successful, contemporary media company with products such as OMTEC, BONEZONE and ORTHOWORLD Membership. Today, I continue to learn and I continue to stumble. While I still make some of the same mistakes, I recognize them sooner and recover more quickly. I'm grateful to be surrounded by an amazing and supportive team of "OHeads" who are fiercely customer-centric, kind, resourceful and committed. Together we're building products and services that mitigate our customers' challenges and help them uncover and leverage opportunities.
