Over 8 years as RN with experience in acute care, outpatient surgery, corrections and outpatient adult primary care. I have completed multiple travel contracts across several esteemed healthcare organizations such as Kaiser Medical Centers (San Diego, CA and Portland, OR) University Medical Center, New Orleans and Ochsner Medical center, all of which I was requested to extend contract or come onto staff permanently. I was promoted to charge nurse of the step down unit at Phoebe Putney Medical during their first wave of Covid infections and was capable of managing all high risk Covid patients with full staff of travel nurses. In January of 2023, I obtained my certification as a Nurse Coach after completing the INCA nurse coach program. I find myself more attuned to holistic and preventative healthcare practice's and provide free coaching to peers in need of supportive motivation.I find genuine joy pleasure helping others create and set sustainable goals, determine steps to achieve those goals and often identify when they need to modify or adapt. Helping folks achieve strong leadership skills and utilize in their day today work.My current work has me developing and updating workflows for daily center work, initiating updates and changes to processes. I also lead an organizational precepting group and work to provide consistent balance, and informative leadership for their specific role as well as develop training programs for new hires, current team members and peers.
