My current role at involves supporting clients with complex needs. Our team works with clients experiencing primary homeless . All clients are high needs and have complex barriers to securing and maintaining housing including mental health, AOD and family violence or all three, as is often the case . Clients are accommodated in motels or YFS short term crisis accommodation whilst I support clients to access supports and address barriers. I love my job and I aim to work collaboratively with clients to give them the best opportunity to make positive changes. I am trauma informed and have a competent understanding of First Nations peoples, cultures, and issues which impact them, and a I have a commitment to culturally safe practice. I have well established self care routines and thrive under pressure!
