April is a Director in PwC’s Capital Program Excellence (CPE) practice based in Houston. Our CPE Team provides specialized consulting services to private and public companies who are undertaking large scale programs and portfolios related to capital assets. We cover a wide range of areas including engineering, project, risk and cost management to identify unique solutions across the full value chain of acquiring/financing, planning, designing, constructing / implementing, commissioning, and operating / maintaining complex capital projects. April specializes in project controls and governance transformations, contracting strategies, and strategic sourcing.

Leading teams and our clients in the areas of project controls, project governance, contracting strategy, and other related consulting engagements in PwC's Capital Project Services group.

Our Capital Projects & Infrastructure practice helps clients in both the public and private spaces — with a focus on transactions and the building of assets. Our energy team delivers a fully integrated service offering advising clients across the entire project or asset life cycle. We do this by bringing together diverse functional and sector expertise on a global basis. This often includes professionals with experience in the planning, analysis, execution and governance and reporting of large capital programs, public private partnership experience on both the public and commercial side, regulatory expertise, fund structuring and deal.We are also able to serve as a consultant to private and public sector developers and owners/operators, as an independent, conflict-free advisor. Traditionally, other firms have acted as both the project advisors and builders on large projects, which prohibit independent contractor oversight. Our value is that we bring engineering project expertise, along with an independent, objective perspective.
