Key Performance• Make strategies to streamline the supply chain and resolve shortage issues thus strengthening rapport with suppliers. • Maintaining incoming quotations • Responsible for incoming requisitions from the planning team in regards to processing hot customer material. • Move forward with material that is within the lead time for the Global Supply team and work with supplier upper management to get the fastest and most efficient delivery dates.• Streamline the system with the most accurate pricing and lead time in regards to the plant components. • Manage customer meetings and advised customers on the latest status of orders. • Collaborate with management, sales and customers to approve PPV issues. • Responsibly work independently to organize purchasing activities related to manufacturing, planning and engineering in order to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely fashion. • Responsible for negotiation of contracts and procurement of all plant material (e.g., PCBA, sheet metal, SMT, connectors, etc.) • Stay in touch and work with management, sales and customers to approve any PPV issues.KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrong negotiating skills.Develop great relationship with vendorsAbility to identify trends in the industryPromote professional behavior with all the staffStrong ability to interpret and manage/control inventoryGather and analyze information skillfullyAbility to multitask with multiple projects at one timeKnowledge of the auditing process, documents and formsAbility to follow through on all tasks to completionGood practical knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word and Power Point
