Main Priorities: As official sales/marketing arm of University of Houston Athletic Department, sell and activate all sponsorships for university athletics utilizing radio, television, print, signage, promotions, hospitality, and internet• Developed strong, sustainable relationships with executive level decision makers.• Designed and implemented corporate sponsorships with national, regional, and local sponsors.• Created and executed programs to expand visibility for corporate partners and help their brand awareness based on the budget and needs of the business (i.e., BMC Software, New York Life, Academy Sports and Outdoors, US Army, etc.).• Developed and executeed game day corporate promotions, game sponsorships, and corporate hospitality events.• Organized monthly networking luncheons for current clients and prospects.• Responsible for sponsorship print ads, placement, and execution of the University of Houston Game Day Football and Men’s Basketball Programs.

• Implemented corporate sponsorship agreements and managed corporate events for key accounts (i.e., Continental Airlines, Coca-Cola, The Methodist Hospital, Reliant, etc).• Managed all corporate sponsor kiosks located inside the ballpark on game days.• Supervised the 16 member Coca-Cola Park Patrol spirit squad.• Assisted Astros in Action Foundation with key community events (i.e., Race for the Pennant, Charity Golf Tournament, Lead off Luncheon).• Managed logistics for the Houston College Classic, MLB All Star Game, Post Season, and World Series. • Organized & hosted player appearances and other ceremonies for corporate sponsors.• Responsible for sponsorship print ads, placement, & execution of the Astros Game Day Program. • Prepared proposals, contracts, year end summaries, radio logs, and corporate suite nights.
