Assists Service Members, Veterans, and their Families translate their skills and create targeted resumes for positions that they qualify for. Support clients' goals by teaching them how to create a career plan that is both attainable and realistic. Conducts skills and personality assessments to aide in the career planning process. Facilitates classes/workshops on resumes, federal resumes and the federal hiring process, interview skills and professionalism, and career exploration. Networks with educational institutions and employers to better serve client needs. Serves as the Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator for the installation both recruiting volunteers for various organizations and recognizing those who serve. Utilizes critical thinking when translating volunteer service to resumes. Acts as an Army Emergency Relief Officer who assists Service Members and their Families in financial need through zero percent interest loans and grants.
