Academic and Career Advising, College and Career Readiness Department, DirectorProvides direction, support, training and supervision for Academic Advisors in multiple CCR program areas; prepares recommendations for hiring staff; makes recommendations regarding disciplinary actions including termination; establishes and monitors employee performance objectives. Prepares and manages departmental budget; forecasts and recommends funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and recommends approval of expenditures. Coordinate and manage technology integration for all CCR advising and career support services. Contributes to the selection and development of instructional materials for advising prerequisites in accordance with course objectives. Plans, organizes and directs all activities for student advising and transition information for the Advising and Student Success Centers at multiple campuses.
