About April Sandolph

Where it started...It all started for me when a high school English teacher believed in me when I didn't believe in me. I could never tell the story of my journey, without going back to her. She was my champion the best or times and the worst of time. I believe in giving people their flowers while they are here. So, Thank you Deneen Ducote for giving me the tools needed to do anything I desired and for giving me the template to be a teacher and leader that puts students and families first.Where it has taken me......My life’s work consistently demonstrates a commitment to educational equity, closing opportunity gaps, and fostering positive school cultures that empower students and engage families. I have a proven track record of driving student achievement, coaching educators, and implementing data-driven initiatives. My expertise spans professional development, curriculum design, and strategic planning, with a focus on math instruction and school improvement. One my biggest accomplishments was leading a team of dedicated teachers to improved STARR scores of 22 points in 3rd-5th grade math.My relentless pursuit of excellence for students is the same love and care that I give to the people in my life. I want all that I meet to feel seen and pushed to be their best selves.
