I am the Chair of Dinsmore's Trademarks Practice Group and the Co-Founder of the Dinsmore Beer Wine and Spirits Team. I have extensive experience in the protection, enforcement and litigation of trademarks and copyrights. I have spent my practice counseling a wide-range of diverse clients including multi-billion dollar corporations, entrepreneurs, mid-level organizations, and individuals with their intellectual property issues. I am also active in the field of new media and have extensive experience in the enforcement and protection of trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property on social media, mobile devices, emerging technologies and the internet. In addressing these evolving issues and technologies I provide a direct, strategic, and thoughtful approach tailored to the culture and goals of each individual client. My additional experience includes litigation and transactional work. I have represented clients in cases involving multi-million dollar intellectual property trademark disputes, Digital Millennium Copyright Act disputes, copyright ownership disputes, and licensing disputes. I have handled IP management in worldwide transactions involving billion dollar corporations and have experience in licensing, assignments, and drafting of non-disclosure and non-compete agreements.I served as the president of CincyIP for an unprecedented five year term before serving as past president in 2017. I currently sit on the board of CincyIP as an elected member. I am also a member of the Trademarks and Domain Name and Social Media Committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association. I am the Co-Chair of the Women United (formerly known as WINGs) Steering Committee through the United Way. In addition, I serve as the chair of CincyBrand, a highly successful conference for legal practitioners, marketers and business owners on the subject of branding and licensing that first debuted in April 2014.
