🪩Former Corporate Woman morphed into Business Leader. I broke free and escaped Corporate life!I grew up in Princeton (Go Tigers 🐅!) and Lawrenceville, NJ. I've been in Marketing and Sales since I was 14 years old with my first Marketing Job after school afternoons at The McCarter Theatre 🎭 company to pay for my attending a Summer Arts Program at Parson's School of Design 🎨 in Manhattan. And I continued to have funds for attending Smith College where I got in early indication after falling in love with it on a New England Autumn tour of colleges. I'd first come to be interested in Smith from an amazing Smith College Preview social the Princeton Smith Club Alumnae regularly hosting for Junior and Senior High School girls. All women's college? 👩🏻👩🏿👩🏽👩🏼The alumnae and an article on the majority of 🌟Women CEO's and leaders had attended an All Women's college prompted me to be open to it. After visiting, Smith was where I wanted to be. I love connecting and networking with fellow women professionals and particularly my fellow Smith College Alumnae. Always aiming to be helpful and build value in the Smith and 7 Sisters network. After college, I worked in Corporate Sales and Marketing for years, starting back at McCarter, Corporate Accounting and FP&A then back to Sales and Marketing in Silcon Valley both in large corporations and Venture Capital backed start-ups. My mentor guided us all who were Sales Professionals to start our own internet-based businesses 🏬 and boy am I glad I did years ago then. I find entrepreneurship and free enterprise to be the most empowering and liberating ways of living out there. Now I'm an 🛜 Internet Business owner and mentor to women and men who want to create a PT Income from Home and Online. I joined LinkedIn in 2005 during the early days and was one of the founders of the LinkedIn Power Women in the early days of LinkedIn 2005-2010, founded a LinkedIn group for Smith College Alumnae, and was active in the original L.I.O.N.s, the LinkedIn Open Networks during my Silicon Valley B2B corporate sales days. I’ve been active in one of the top 2-5% in my industry Professionals Mastermind Program.
