Ms. Cedillo is the manager and founder of Link Interpret, LLC, a certified woman-owned business. Link Interpret provides experienced, certified legal interpreters of all languages for depositions, arbitrations, and client meetings, while providing superior customer service to law firms. Our experienced interpreters skillfully switch between languages to provide effortless communication. Link's interpreters use their knowledge of complicated legal vocabulary and familiarity with terms relating to topics covered in depositions so that the record of an interpreted deposition is crystal clear. Link Interpret also provides experienced conference interpreters for large events and business meetings.

Ms. Cedillo's interpreting expertise is in legal settings between Spanish speakers and judges, attorneys, and other legal workers, in courts and law firms. She frequently works in civil, criminal, and immigration courts and interprets at trials, depositions, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings. Her proficiency interpreting in both simultaneous mode and consecutive mode allows legal proceedings to unfold smoothly with minimal interruption.

Ms. Cedillo interpreted for the Miss Universe pageant from 2004 through 2016, in countries such as Ecuador, Thailand, Vietnam, the Bahamas, Brazil, Russia, and the Philippines. The pageant requires a team of interpreters who work alongside the contestants for the week leading up to the telecast. The team interprets everything from preliminary interviews, to runway instructions, to the nail-biting final question live on stage.After working with Ms. Cedillo as an independent contractor for years, the Miss Universe Organization selected her to choose and lead an interpreting team from Link Interpret in 2015 and again in 2016. It was an immense honor to carefully handpick a dream team of the best interpreters around the globe. The 2016 pageant required the most interpreters ever needed by Miss Universe. Ms. Cedillo led the team of 21 interpreters, several multi-lingual, for the 26 languages requested. Both years were exciting for Link’s team, working on live on stage interpreting the final questions, even interpreting for the eventual 2016 crown winner.

Ms. Cedillo established her successful freelance business in the competitive Miami/ South Florida area. She obtained an excellent depth of experience through the heavy emphasis on interpreting legal depositions and mediations in workers compensation and personal injury cases. She frequently interpreted at civil court trials, independent medical examinations, polygraph tests, and class action lawsuit depositions.

Being a staff interpreter for a prestigious language service agency in the competitive Miami area gave Ms. Cedillo the opportunity to interpret in a wide range of settings, from insurance defense to international lawsuits. She worked closely with an elite team of language experts to hone her interpreting skills, vocabulary, and interpreting modes. During this time she became state certified by the Consortium for State Court Interpreter Certification program.
