Television producer/writer/editor/jack-of-all-trades turned global health and development communicator. I translate technical documents into a language normal people can understand, highlighting what is most important/relevant to the target audience, and teach others to do the same. Have had the immense pleasure of working with brilliant and inspiring researchers, program implementers, advocates, and journalists all over the world. My own research and writing has focused on: gender-based violence (causes and best practices for prevention), genocide and its impact on health and society, sexual violence in conflict, interventions for social norm change, community organizing and mobilization, and empowerment of marginalized groups.
