I see myself as more of an expert in taking care of people as I believe in serving and not selling! When we meet I truly want to get to know you well and understand your needs. I have lived through many different seasons of life like moving up to a bigger home to accommodate a growing family and then downsizing when the kids moved away and relocating to another state. I know the stress and overwhelm that can come when buying and selling, and It's my job to give you the knowledge and the tools you need for a smooth transition. My experience before getting into real estate wasn't a good one and I don't want that to happen to you! Unfortunately, I was not armed with the knowledge I needed. Because of that, I lost thousands of dollars when selling. That negative experience motivates me today to take extraordinary care of my clients by guiding them through the process. And, also providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to make the best buying and selling decision for them! As a self-employed woman in business for more than 30 years, I know how to get things done. I have had to learn how to become an expert in multitasking, systems, organization, and management skills. I am a nurturer at heart and taking care of people is just part of my DNA. Before getting into real estate I owned a remodeling business for 13 years. That experience combined with my time in real estate helps me guide my selling clients in what to fix up in their house and what to leave the way it is. For my buying clients, I can look at the house they are falling in love with and give realistic expectations about the work and cost to make it their dream home!I am passionate about always growing and learning and have spent hundreds of hours and dollars investing in education for my clients. I have the following designations and certification: Certified Negotiation Experts (CNE), Real Estate Divorce Specialist (REDS), and Diversity, Equity, Fair Housing, and Inclusion Advocate Certified (DEFI).If you are looking for me when I'm not doing real estate, you will probably find me with family or friends. I am creative at heart, a lover of jazz music, and an avid reader. I spend my spare time practicing my skills as an artist and mostly enjoy painting with acrylics. I recently adopted a male toy Maltipoo, Finnley and we enjoy going for morning or evening walks together.
