National marketing and communications lead, collaborating with the Executive Director, Board of Directors and corporate partners to revitalize the organization by executing a renewed strategic direction. Responsible for marketing strategy & execution including digital & social media, advertising & promotions, special events, sponsorships as well as media & government relations support. Editorial director for all AMC publications including newsletters, magazines, member & industry communications, & print publications. Other responsibilities include managing external vendor & agency relationships, revenue stream generation, fundraising, member relations, budget development & management for the marketing department.Projects- Collaborating with the convention committee, led all planning, budgeting, promotion, execution & site management of AMC’s marquee convention & trade show. My first year as project lead saw a 615% increase in event revenue;- Revamping of AMC sponsorship strategy providing extended value to our key sponsors and partners, doubling our sponsorship revenue by 2018;- Project lead implementing CRM platform to boost online sales, improve member relations, increase communications & collect insights. This platform has been instrumental in reducing overhead, improving member communication & gaining resource efficiencies;- Development and implementation of social media strategy, exceeding proposed campaign KPI’s within the first 3 months of launch;- Overhaul of all AMC digital and print publications providing improved communications vehicles to members, industry & government as well as generating innovative and unique opportunities to our advertisers. Resulted in an increase in engagement, brand awareness & increased ad sales in 2019; and- Development of new AMC knowledge event series providing valuable networking & educational opportunities to members across Canada while generating a new revenue stream for the organization;
