I am currently searching for a content writer, marketing, graphic design or related position. I am a freelancer and take on remote contract jobs. At this time, I work for Coalition Technologies, a search engine optimization (SEO) company. I write and optimize blog articles and other website content for best practices. We use a remote content management system and email to communicate within our team.Earlier this year, I took on a contract job for Leica Geosystems in which I did design work and helped them transition their website from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8, utilizing my knowledge of basic HTML and Adobe programs. We communicated through email, Skype, and Slack. Prior to that, I served as the Vice President of Member Services for AAMCN, a part of Associaition Servics, Inc. My duties included marketing and sales of association memberships and products, email communications, advertisement and journal layout design, social media management, content creation for web and print, marketing planning and brainstorming. Other duties included membership services, shipping of products, proofing of association literature, lead prospecting, and assisting with annual conference functions. I was also responsible for overseeing the Board of Directors and Leadership Council meetings, as well as coordinating and leading temporary Education Review Committees. In another remote contract position, I was employed part-time for over two years with a local newspaper in New Jersey, the Merchantville Observer. I was responsible for the design of the paper layout as well as proofing content and editing images as necessary.
