I‘ve been self-employed since 1997 and have a strong work ethic, discipline, and I “color outside the lines”. I work in an array of interesting roles which include writer, podcaster, entrepreneur, model and athlete (professional wrestler/national level NPC fitness competitor) all rolled into a brand I’ve built, grown and cross-promoted for over twenty years. Beyond those roles, I am also an occasional comic book model and own a small organic soy candle & artisan soap business, AprilsScentSations. While I often work alone, I play well with others. The advantage of such an unusual life is that I have interacted and get along well with every imaginable slice of humanity, regardless of nationality, culture or language. Growing up in a military family and being an athlete has allowed me to travel the world, which is an education most are not afforded.
