As the Staffing Solutions Manager, I am responsible for selling and managing all temporary staffing services, as wells as providing managerial, administrative and logistical support to our temporary staff known as "Redcoats". I develop relationships with meeting planners to determine registration and staffing needs for upcoming meetings and conventions. I supervise and train all temporary staff to ensure exceptional service levels. I manage all event schedules for work assignments and am responsible for developing, updating and enforcing staff policies and procedures. I make recommendations and develop new and improved services and programs to serve customers. I recruit and train new Redcoats. I work with the marketing department create and deliver the Redcoat Newsletter and other services and promotional materials. I also monitor definite booked meetings and lost business for prospecting new business.

I also handle developing and implementing employee retention strategies. I manage and keep accurate records of all candidate and new-hire paperwork.I am responsible for specific aspects of business development. I develop & grow client base by marketing event staffing services to meeting planners, market to clients via phone as well as participate in in-person meetings with key prospects, and attend local industry networking events to increase AC Pollard’s exposure in the local meeting planning community.Event staffing is a major part of my role as staffing manager. I determine availability of employees, match appropriate event staff with client projects, and onsite event support positions, and manage communications with event staff prior to and during assignments.Onsite Team Lead - Serve as client’s main point of contact onsite, communicating any information to the onsite team on behalf of the client, make decisions for onsite team: set up lunch and break schedule, authorize shortened or extended hours, handle any disciplinary issues, and manage arrivals and departures, maintain accurate records on team time sheets.
