About April Lesho

I have 16+ years of federal contract management experience, and I am well-versed in all federal contract types including GWAC, MAS, IDIQ, BPA, CPFF, CPAF, FFP, and T&M. I’m intimately familiar with maintaining pricing catalogs, managing day-to-day program management operations, drafting and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure, and teaming agreements. I’m accustomed to making high-risk decisions and working closely with company executives to meet target goals. I’m a hard worker, goal-oriented, and willing to put in the extra effort to meet and exceed expectations. I have strong written and oral communication skills and keen attention to detail. I’m a fast learner and in the performance of my duties, I enjoy analyzing processes and determining ways to increase efficiency. I’m the definition of a team player, but I equally enjoy working independently. I'm a go-getter, full of ambition with endless curiosity. I'm a first generation college graduate and was a walk-on to the USC women’s varsity soccer team. I continue to push myself and strive to meet my goals. I was a quick-study in contract management. I started my career in 2008 with Decisive Analytics and worked my way up from Contract Specialist to Lead Contract Administrator in 2011 to Contract Manager in 2014. I was awarded Employee of the Quarter Q3 2020 at Sirius Federal and Q4 2011 at Decisive Analytics Corporation. While I was with the University of Washington Police Department, I was selected as a Crime Prevention Officer after less than 11 months with department and nominated for 2006 IACLEA Officer of the Year Award. While employed with the York County Sheriff's Office, I was promoted to detective after less than 2 years with the department when the minimum requirement at that time was 3 years.
