As the Director of Partnerships & Programs I build and maintain relationships with the hospitality community in Arlington and the surrounding area. I manage the Arlington Marketing Partners program and work with the entire CVB staff to provide opportunities for our partners to highlight themselves to visitors and groups in Arlington.

As the Tourism Sales Manager for the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau I specialize in promoting Arlington as the premiere leisure destination for groups and individuals. I am here to help group leaders, reunion planners, tour operators and other leisure groups plan the best trip to Arlington and North Texas possible.

I teach a Customer Sales & Service class at Richland College through the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management program. I really enjoy working with future hospitality industry leaders in creating a fundamental base of great customer service and professional attitude. This custom program is applicable across industries because Customer Service is at the heart of all business. My goal is to create professionals who understand that great service starts with them, whether they are a front line person or CEO.

Provide project support and management for marketing campaigns including social media, print, online and overall design. Develop custom destination and service training programs for communities to enhance the visitor experience across markets. Analyze marketing data to effectively manage each project and provide meaningful changes to allow for a higher ROI.

I work with the Certified Tourism Ambassador program as part of Dallas Fort Worth and Beyond. I conduct hospitality training classes, set up registrations and work on events and activities to promote the CTA program.

Support Director of ED & Tourism with administrative duties, research, marketing, reporting, travel arrangements, event planning and design. Help manage departmental budget and provide support for departmental staff.

Managed Visitor Information Center with staff of 5 including a retail store. Promoted Waco as a visitor destination to group tours. Partnered with Waco area attractions on ticket sales, promotions and tour bookings. Created an award winning customer service training program for hospitality related businesses in Waco.

As the first Tourism Manager for the newly incorporated Village of Salado, I created the tourism marketing program from the bottom up. I worked with the local Chamber of Commerce, Business Association and lodging properties to bring together a cohesive marketing program. I worked with local agencies to recreate the Salado website, printed materials and advertisements to create a "brand" that represented Salado an artistic getaway for people from across the state.

During my time as Director the tourism product in Mesquite shifted from mainly leisure to a broader market including meetings. The opening of the Mesquite Convention Center just 6 months after I began my job, created new challenges and opportunities for the hospitality community. I worked with local agencies in trying to shift for a leisure focus to a meetings focus. I worked with outside consultants and an ad agency to bring focus to the needs of the community and shift the brand to include the new products now on board.
