Senior Project Specialist
CurrentSenior Projects Specialist and field representative in the Philippines brings communications relief to the affected community and to the Community of Practice in an affected area. We also provide communications training and tools to organizations and companies in need specially during disasters. Currently working on the following:1. Responsible in managing a group of mappers in building an online directory for every United Methodist Church in the Philippines. 2. Working on optimizing and streamlining communication flow between episcopal areas in the Philippines Central Conference of the UMC.3. Develops a Crisis Management and Emergency Communications Protocol including a standard operating parameters to sustain continuous communications and monitoring in disaster-striken and low resource areas;4. Creation of a Ham Radio communication highway and infrastructure in the Philippines for the UMC PCC;5. Works on crisis mapping during typhoons and other disasters;6. Harnesses the power of communications technology to setup in low-resource areas;7. Actively promotes common-service partnerships among institutions, agencies and organizations.8. Facilitates communications training on social media, branding and marketing.
