I went back to school to follow my passion in genetics and graduated in May with a Diagnostic Genetic Science Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut! I bring so much from my previous job experience with me... authentic excitement for the world of medicine and research, respect for my fellow human, exceptional leadership and a true desire to help people!Twenty-three years in the United States Air Force working in medical administration and hospital management with expertise in leading people, creating teams, managing resources and training and caring for patients through patient advocacy. I completed an internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Genomics Lab) and I am currently working part time supporting Veterans at UConn with exceptional customer service and an award-winning attitude- I am so grateful to have won the Willis N. Hawley Service and Leadership award!
