Hello, I'm April Pierdant, a senior at Mayborn School of Journalism at The University of North Texas, deeply entrenched in the realm of multimedia journalism. Currently, I hold the position of a multimedia bilingual journalist within the Spanish and English News Department at North Texas Television (NTTV). Additionally, I proudly serve as the Executive Producer overseeing all Spanish Media content, including our morning talk show Buenos Días North Texas and our vibrant Spanish-language entertainment program, Ardillando, at NTTV. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of receiving several accolades, with my most remarkable achievement being the 2022 Crystal Pillar Emmy Award, which recognized my excellence as a reporter.In tandem with my journalistic pursuits, I am honored to fulfill the role of Resident at Chase Oaks Church, where I actively contribute as the Social Media Director for the En Español Campus. This multifaceted involvement not only showcases my dedication to journalism but also reflects my commitment to community engagement and leadership.
