Assist therapists and social service workers (SSW) in teaching clients (ages 5-12 yrs.) to develop and practice healthy coping skills Collaborate with team members (e.g., psychologist, L.C.S.W., and SSWs) in developing client treatment plans Facilitate social skills lessons for clients on topics including communication, problem solving, and expressing feelings Support therapists as they lead groups on topics including mindfulness, empathy, and teamwork Create and implement behavior intervention plans for clients with the goals of decreasing unsafe behaviors and increasing use of healthy coping skills Assist clients in de-escalating during times of emotional crisis Utilize behavior tracking chart to document client behaviors throughout the day (15-minute increments) with the purpose of assessing client progress
