Extension is the process of developing and growing Phi Mu Fraternity by adding a new chapter to a college campus where one has not yet been established or where a chapter previously existed but has since closed. The extension process consists of submitting a written packet of information, making an on-campus presentation, coordinating marketing efforts on campus, planning recruitment events and interviewing all potential new members. • Manage public relations and marketing campaigns specific to each campus• Oversee all social media marketing • Organize and execute large scale recruitment events• Present at universities where we have extension opportunity• Recruit and interview potential new members• Build and sustain relationships with university administrators• Use sales experience to convey what Phi Mu Fraternity can bring to each campus and Panhellenic community during extension presentations• Serve as direct Phi Mu contact for Fraternity and Sorority Advisors during extension

• Served as a liaison between Phi Mu National Headquarters and collegiate chapters around the nation. • Assisted in the recolonization of Phi Mu's chapter at the University of Arkansas using recruiting skills.• Educated over 175 new members about the organization and management of our fraternity.• Educated and trained chapter officers and advisors in the areas of marketing and team building activities, general operations, interpersonal skills, leadership, motivation, establishing goals, developing action plans, crisis intervention and risk management. • Managed all the finances and budget of our chapter at the University of Arkansas.• Oversaw all chapter operations at the Univeristy of Arkansas. • Communicated on a weekly basis with Phi Mu National Headquarters staff, area officers, and volunteers to track the progress of our new chapter.
