Supervises a 24x7, 17 person team in support of the US Central Command, J6 directorate at MacDill AFB, FloridaResponsible for the supervision of level one\level two network support to components on a variety of communication issues utilizing network management tools, i.e. CA Spectrum, NetQos, and CNCM, BMC Remedy, netMS, INMS, eHealth.Responsible for analysis and solution recommendation to CENTCOM AOR on all network related events. Performs pro-active monitoring of network elements, alarms, and alerts to identify those components/elements that may lead to or already are causing network degradation or failure. Performs fault isolation and diagnostic/assessment functions including determination and execution of corrective action(s) on real-time basis. Interfaces with functional users as well as DISA's TNCs. Executes all reporting functions and data input associated with network management. Monitores security posture of network(s); reported suspected violations to the designated authority. Coordinates with configuration management and implementation entities to ensure optimum dissemination of information and network efficiency. Coordinates troubleshooting on Tier 1 and Tier 2 routers in the CENTCOM AOR; coordinates restoration actions and provides NetOps reporting to higher, peer, and subordinate NetOps Centers; analyzes current performance data, identifies issues for network analysis (performance, ASI, and outage); and coordinates with higher, peer, and subordinate NetOps Centers and units to optimize the data network. Analytically and systematically evaluates problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action plans.

Supervises an 11 person Help Desk shift operations in support of the US Central Command, J6 directorate at MacDill AFB, Florida. Responsible for the supervision of a level one help desk initial support to end users on a variety of computer and communication issues. Provides level two network administration support for the network management system on the command’s command and control (C2N), unclassified and allied/Coalition networks to include servers, software applications, and firmware. Responsible for providing solutions to customer issues, including Unicenter Service Desk Plus (USD) service requests (Incidents), complaints, and concerns, in a command network operation center (NOC) with a customer base of over 5,500 users. Implemented and manages Televantage Viewpoint Call Monitor system for J6 Help Desk. Adds, revises, approves, and publishes Central Command (CENTCOM) entries to the Computer Associate (CA) Knowledge database. Incident Manager.
