• As the MS Dynamics CRM 2011 team lead at the Veterans Administration (VA) Financial Services Center I successfully delivered the Dynamics CRM 2011 based Payroll and VATAS Support Systems (PVSS). • I designed the CRM data model with custom entities as well as the production infrastructure. I developed the employee self-service Web portal, plugins, and custom workflow activities using C# .Net 3.5 and the CRM SDK. I created the new case forms and customized those using JavaScript and custom fields. I created workflows, email templates, some web resources and custom reports. I customized the sitemap and ribbons based on user roles. I separated these customizations into 4 managed solutions for production. I designed the custom roles based on each departments’ business unit Case types. In addition to the initial design development and implementation, I was responsible for administration, maintenance, training and some project management. This system was delivered on time and under budget all while losing resources and keeping the customer happy. • After the implementation I put together and led a team to successfully deliver enhancement and maintenance efforts. • PVSS is a VA Employee centric Case Management system. It is used by the VA Time and Attendance system and the nationwide Payroll support teams here at the FSC and in Washington. The system supports approximately 350,000 VA employees handling multiple types of Cases by around 75 users. • PVSS is a composite enterprise application that is composed of MS Dynamics CRM 2011 on premise, custom managed solutions, a custom ASP.NET(C#) self-service portal, browser and Outlook clients, an email router implementation, and custom Active Directory integration.• The Portal uses CRM Rest and Soap service endpoints to create and list cases. It uses active directory employee user data to create CRM contacts.

• I developed an ASP.NET MVC3 Web Application for the administration of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Registry. I used SSIS and RapidMiner to transform data imported from the CDC's National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) into a SQL Server 2008 R2 database for example data. I mapped those tables into objects using Telerik's OpenAccess Open Source Object Relation Mapping (ORM) tool. I used Linq extensively to filter and manipulate the lists of created objects for use in the next sequence of data to generate. I then converted the project into a Windows desktop application as the requirements were modified.• I created a proof of concept web application to demonstrate the practicalities of using the web service integration capabilities of Consilience Software’s Maven application for the DSHS HAI web sites. I used MSDN's XML Schema Definition tool to extract an object graph of the Maven Integration Format from the MavenWebservices.wsdl to use with serialization. I created a proxy service to access the Maven Integration Interfaces. Instead of WCF, the proxy used standard web requests and responses because Maven does not return document type info in the soap response which WCF requires.

• While retained by VSolvit (VSolvit.com) I authored a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) proposal for their client the U.S. Navy. The proposal included a proof of concept project plan, proposed feature set, estimated costs, and a high level representation of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for a distributed composite application. The proposed system will automate processes using business process execution combined with human interactive work flows based on business rules and system events via a Business Process Management (BPM) system. The system interoperates across a heterogeneous environment that will include integrating intermittently disconnected remote systems that queues messages, Remedy Help Desk software, and other custom systems using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The recommended tools to implement the solution included Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) products from Vitria, JBoss and Microsoft’s Biztalk/SharePoint.• Working with our client olehenriksen.com I successfully integrated the Word Press blog application into their existing ASPDotNetStoreFront eCommerce web site. Their issue was the BlogEngine application did not have the features they required. Challenges: WordPress is PHP based and the site is ASP.Net based. The data needed to be transferred from xml data to a MySql database. The theme had to remain the same. Review at www.olehenricksen.com.• Working with our client Treasure Hunter on emergency short notice I redeveloped parts of the ASPDotNetStoreFront eCommerce web application to the working system that was in place just a few days prior. The issue was the previous developer somehow broke the system and the client needed the site restored to the way it was. The challenge: They had fired that developer and he had left no documentation and no backup files. Review at www.treasurehunter55.com.
