As a team member, was responsible for the following :• Coding SQL Scripts for developing Adhoc reports requested by the trading desk and front office on an on-going basis• Responsible for coding the JIL (Job Information Language) source for updating the JOBs in Autosys. • Implemented GENEOS for proactive alerting for one of the applications to ease the support activity.• Providing L-1 and L-2 production application support to the Trading desk and demonstrating proactiveness in dealing with any production issues.• Doing debugging and root cause analysis for all types of issues in the Application and getting them resolved as soon as possible for minimal / no business impact.• Designing the tests cases and performing Unit Acceptance testing before releases to make sure that the changes going in releases are bug free and as per requirement.• Responsible for doing the impact testing to calculate the impact of change in various parameters involved in Risk Calculations.• Assessing existing system and implementing improvements to reduce the support hours.• Coordinate with the developers on new requirements , analysis , testing and release and constant interaction with multiple teams to get the process in-line.• Implementation of changes going in production as part of releases.• Preparing UAT / BAU environments for testing purpose. • Performing Regression testing using TEAMCITY.• Resolving user , infrastructure and admin level issues with the application.• Modification of solutions depending on the issues and implementing them in production.• Serving as SME for one of the applications and first point of contact for any issues related to the application.
