Vice President Supply Chain
CurrentThe Vice President of Global Supply Chain will be responsible for driving operational excellence and maximizing efficiency across our global supply chain network. This position will play a key role in developing and executing supply chain strategies and policies to ensure product availability while minimizing costs and optimizing processes. In addition, key focuses include designing and implementing the global footprint network, mitigating supply risk, and optimizing the organization's operation process. This person will also report to the CEO to help manage the overseas plants. Global Footprint Strategy: Design and implement a global sourcing strategy to position key products as cost leaders in the industry. Assess sourcing options and identify cost-saving opportunities. Optimize the global supply chain network to streamline operations and reduce costs.Policy and Process Development: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.Demand Management and Forecasting: Develop a high-performing team, processes, and tools for accurate demand forecasting and inventory management. Implement IT system support to enhance forecasting accuracy. Lead the team to ensure products are available on time to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Ensure resilience and flexibility in the supply chain to respond to disruptions effectively. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize processes and increase efficiency.Leadership and Talent Development: Lead and develop the supply chain team, including hiring, training, and mentoring personnel.
