As an Expert at the Indonesian Biochar Association, my role is multifaceted and impactful. I lead biochar research and development initiatives, collaborating with scientists and institutions to advance our understanding and application of biochar technologies. Providing technical guidance to association members, government bodies, and industry stakeholders is a crucial aspect of my responsibilities, along with conducting educational programs to raise awareness about biochar practices. Advocacy is central to my role as I work towards integrating biochar into national policies and engaging with diverse stakeholders. Building and nurturing partnerships with organizations, representing the association at events, and overseeing the development of quality standards for biochar production are integral components of my work. Pursuing collaborative projects and continually seeking opportunities for professional development are key elements in ensuring the association's growth and influence in the biochar community.

The Expert for National Policy Development and Mainstreaming of Forest Bioeconomy in Indonesia will assist The Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) and FORCLIME to implement the study on forest-based bioeconomy in Indonesia. 1. Arrange the meetings/seminar/FGDs (including develop the TOR and identify the topic, objectives, output, resource persons, etc).2. Collect and manage data (primary and secondary) related to bioeconomy.3. Develop activity report.4. Assist the Senior Expert to prepare final report on the implementation of the study.5. Prepare the material of presentation for meetings/seminar/FGDs.6. Coordinate with the team to deliver effective, efficient, and transparent support.

My role involves teaching a few courses including Reaction Engineering, Transport Phenomena, and Process Plant Design, and supervise research students in the area of Waste to Energy conversion.

I conducted research in biomass conversion and biofuel production using pyrolysis, catalytic upgrading and sub-critical water technology. I also work on CO2 capture technology, chemical looping combustion process and biodiesel technology.

The Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Students Association, CPEG, is the official body representing the graduate students of the Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Department of the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary. Our Mission is to improve the overall quality of the educational experience of the graduate students while they are members of the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department. This can include providing information on procedures and helpful tools available for students, organizing social events, and giving feedback of student concerns to the department faculty.

I developed some apps for Apple Mobile Device (Iphone, Ipad, Ipodtouch) which provides review of engineering course and technology. The topic includes Engineering Static, Fluid Mechanics, and Reservoir Engineering.

I was doing research related to oil and gas field. I simulated a seismoelectric phenomena for detecting oil, water or gas reservoir by analyzing the electromagnetic signal produce from the subsurface layer.
