• Excavated colonial graveyards and a hospital compound in Mauritius as part of the Mauritian Archaeology and Cultural Heritage (M.A.C.H.) project aimed at researching disease management in the period of enslavement and indenture, as the pandemics of cholera and smallpox raged.• Facilitated archival research and the transcription and translation of documents.

• Organized acquisitions (books, magazines, serials) in Arabic, French, Turkish and Urdu and incorporated them to the digital library database using ALMA and OCLC.• Romanized and transliterated titles from Arabic, Persian and Urdu and analyzing book contents in order to produce bibliographic data.

• Built online databases to store data about documents belonging to a range of collections, some several centuries old, owned by Amherst College. • Offered consulting services to patrons and perused archival stacks at Frost Library in search of collections relevant to their specific research needs and interests. • Scrutinized unclassified archival material and dated and assigned documents in French and Arabic to existing or emerging collections.

• Curated the Classics collection by prospecting the public domain in search of literature relevant to current market interests and topicalities; drafted proposals and advised the editorial committee. • Spearheaded the compilation, production and editing of an anthology of historical writing; copywrote promotional material and pitched the manuscript to external funding bodies.

• Edited, annotated and proofread manuscripts in English and French for the French literature and foreign literature departments, providing regular reports and evaluations to the head publisher.• Mediated communication between the publishing house and journalists; assisted in the organization and accommodation of promotional events in prevision of the autumn literary season.
