- Provided high level strategic support and project management on key internal priorities and projects involving the Senior Vice President, U.S. Programs, and the Deputy Director, U.S. Programs; - Monitored departmental needs, including implementing training and professional development opportunities, overseeing external events, and assisting with risk mitigation;- Coordinated and managed the annual work planning and budgeting processes for U.S. Programs.

• Partnered with the Chief Program Officer and key leaders across the organization to design a first-of-its-kind training and development program equipping more than 1,000 new organizers with the skills and competencies needed to successfully serve on future electoral campaigns and in the 21st-century workplace.• Designed the organization's competency model and coaching approach to direct the work of 12 internal staff coaches, 80+ external instructors/facilitators, and align the growth and development of the new organizers with the leadership team's strategic goals.• Working closely with coaches and state managers, enabled performance coaching based on a three-level evaluation strategy that measured corps member satisfaction, individual growth and learning transfer, and city-by-city performance; concurrently, this approach gave the leadership team unprecedented visibility into staff output and unprecedented capacity for rapid, responsive decision-making.

• Designed and conducted an organization-first nationwide needs analysis of TFP's field staff, interviewing 12 representative Dream Directors and their managers and compiling key learnings for leadership staff.• Based on insights from this needs analysis, launched and currently lead TFP’s transition to a constructivist developmental learning approach, replacing an inflexible set of narrowly technical trainings with a responsive, sustainable curriculum architecture for incoming and returning Dream Directors.• Using Design Thinking and ADDIE methodologies, design learning content, tools, and experiences that equip Dream Directors to independently and deliberately meet the unique programmatic needs of their individual school communities.

Recruited to design a statewide program that would train managers, organizers and volunteers to engage supporters and turn out voters in this crucial battleground state. Led team of 3 with accountability for developing courses, learning materials, and tools to drive results across a large and complex organization. • Facilitated successful recruitment and training of 700 employees and 1,000 volunteer leaders in just 3 months by devising ‘train-the-trainer’ approach that quickly cascaded learning throughout the organization.• Designed leadership development curriculum that prepared 50+ regional managers to hire and train a staff of 400 organizers in the implementation of a statewide voter outreach strategy.• Created a total of 63 training modules, including major Get Out the Vote initiative, that were a vital tool in registering 200,000 new voters and turning out over one million voters.

Developed and facilitated multiple training initiatives for this national advocacy organization with 250 chapters in 23 states. Accountable for training a new generation of organizers in order to drive change and engage communities. Utilized virtual classrooms and interactive digital toolkits to efficiently train large numbers of people across the country. Managed small team and controlled annual budget. • Conducted ‘deep dive’ analysis of current training models/materials and worked closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to design instruction.• Overhauled outdated fellowship program to boost applications and graduation rates; conceived and led new program that trained 200 new organizers to build grassroots volunteer teams in just one year. - Transformed program from a classroom-based instructor-led training program to a blended e-learning, program and recruited 70+ volunteer managers to improve trainee coaching and support.• Created the Professional Fellowship, a multi-track blended-learning management program for professional organizers; attracted almost 2,000 applicants, selected an exceptionally talented group to train, and achieved a 92% graduate retention rate. The program is still run to this day. - Leveraged adult learning principles, learning technologies for virtual learning, and utilized the Interactive Model of Program Planning to develop the program. - Created standard curriculum including facilitator’s guide, online participant manual, and all relevant materials.

• Wrote a bilingual training program to train over 400 field staff and nearly 34,000 volunteers on grassroots organizing tactics, volunteer management, and data analysis. • Designed and implemented a fellowship program to train and develop over 2,000 prospective staff members.• Supported the implementation of the largest Get-Out-The-Vote program ever run by a statewide campaign in Texas by training and managing a team of eight managers and 30 organizers, generating nearly half a million door-knocks through Election Day.

Appointed to second most senior position in the state, reporting directly to the State Coordinator, with accountability for building and sustaining 8 chapters across the state. Recruited and led a team of 5 regional organizers and forged/managed partnerships to drive coalition-building efforts. Played integral role in all aspects of strategy planning and execution. Adapted national training program for use across Pennsylvania.• Played key role in turning start-up organization into thriving coalition with 8 fully staffed chapters; designed grassroots organizing plan and created performance metrics to instill accountability.• Built and sustained strong relationships with advocates across the labor, religious and business sectors and helped to attract 600+ volunteers.

• Worked with the Associate Director to manage a network of more than 20 volunteer community leaders trained to work with local families to process birth certificates for children and adults who were not inscribed at birth, or whose birth certificates had been stripped away by the 2010 Dominican Constitution.Context: In 2010 a revision of the Dominican Republic constitution denied citizenship to children born in the county to undocumented residents. A subsequent court ruling made the constitutional policy retroactive, affecting approximately 210,000 people, including thousands of them living in the region served by the DREAM Project

• Coordinated Keystone Progress' Fiscal Cliff Campaign in PA-15, using grassroots strategies and digital organizing tools to pressure Representative Lou Barletta to extend the Bush-era tax cuts for Americans earning under 400K a year.

• Recruited, coached, and supported three volunteer teams for President Obama’s reelection campaign, resulting in over 1,000 new registered voters over two months and increased Democratic turnout in 15 precincts.

Coordinated and conducted a Fulbright field research proposal on the Dominican-Haitian border, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic to understand the historical roots of the Dominican-Haitian diplomatic relationship.
