Bindoon Special Forces Training Facility

I work closely with special divisions within the Australian Defence force and third party range users such as Western Australian Police Tactical Response Group and the Australian Federal Police. My role is to facilitate training activities at various locations around Australia. Training activities utilise electronic, robotic, pneumatic and mechanical targetry.Secondary to these planned training activities is research and development of new targets and training systems based on observational and collaborative engagement with range users.

I maintained downhole and surface equipment for oil and gas survey. This equipment included PLC based testing equipment, nuclear based strata identification tools, well-bore sampling tools, electrical based and acoustic based strata identification tools.I also supported the companies operations in Papua New Guinea and remote parts of Western Australia.I also built several complete well-bore logging systems whilst employed by Halliburton. These new logging systems replaced the legacy systems.

Testing and calibration to NATA ISO 17025:2005 standards of electronic and electrical measurement equipment.Maintenance of all calibration standards.Repair and maintenance of test equipment.
