Mowasalat's commitment was evident during FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, where the company successfully deployed close to 1000 electric buses supported by an infrastructure of more than 500 charging stations.Roles and Responsibilities:• Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the operational performance of all the electric buses and chargers in Mowasalat facilities to ensure smooth operation nationwide.• Entrusted with overseeing operations at the world’s largest electric bus depot, Lusail Depot in Qatar, during FIFA World Cup 2022. Conducted daily testing of over 200 chargers in collaboration with ABB engineers which helped in the transportation of passengers over a distance exceeding 2.9 million kilometers, resulting in the prevention of over 2.4 million kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions.• Played a crucial role in the testing phase of 10 prototype electric buses and 5 prototype charges during the Formula 1 and FIFA Arab Cup events in 2021.• Accountable in providing strategic recommendations to the electric bus and charger manufacturers as well as the charger management system developer, ensuring alignment with the company's e-mobility initiatives.• Monitored the installation progress of chargers and supervised a team of approximately 40 electric bus drivers to support testing and commissioning. Coordinated closely with YUTONG, ABB, and contractor engineers to ensure timely readiness of chargers, meeting the specified deadline.• Participated in the post-delivery inspection of the electric buses upon their arrival in Qatar.• Successfully completed a specialized training set by Energy Security Agency (ESA) to respond to emergency incidents involving electric vehicles.
