With an eye for detail and a strong determination to perform in challenging environments, he has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to deliver initiatives on or under budget and on or ahead of schedule. Excellent client interaction, communication, and consulting skills coupled with the credibility gained with senior stakeholders is a hallmark of Ara’s, as well as the ability to balance the long-term and short-term implications of individual decisions. As a Consulting Director Ara has full delivery and financial responsibility and accountability for the 2 accounts teams. One of these teams won the Teradata Australia and New Zealand “Team of the Year in 2016”.While Ara’s skills are broad based and extensive, one of his key strengths is his deep knowledge and proven capability (well over 10 years) in delivering Datawarehousing programs and projects, Big Data projects including Aster and Hadoop as well as open source technologies in general. Ara has significant experience in all areas of the delivery lifecycle from the tender process to delivery and support and has used PMBOK, CMM as well as elements of Prince2 and Agile in the past. One of his strongest assets is his deep understanding of all aspects of the program and project management disciplines, including detailed planning, full financial management, risk management and stakeholder management. Furthermore, he has reported to steering committees and CxO and General Management levels of organisations on numerous programs/projects in the past and is very comfortable communicating at all levels.
