I co-founded Omnilert in 2004 and launched the first multi-modal mass emergency notification first used on college campuses. Today, Omnilert pioneers gun detection technology using Artificial Intelligence that identifies weapons using security cameras. This will become a new standard in security by preventing harm with early warning and automation. In 2021, I founded and serve as board president at ZeroNow, the collective impact nonprofit created by school safety stakeholders to drive ideas, innovation, and investment for safer schools and campuses. With more than 25 years of leadership experience, I have developed and executed plans for startups, new businesses, and nonprofits in the field of public safety.My passion lies in envisioning and building new technology and programs that improve public safety. Additionally, I am the author of The Lemonade Stand, the "why-to" book on entrepreneurship with supporting curriculum, and the founder of BENEFIT, a nonprofit coalition of musicians who perform to raise funds for charities supporting needy children. I have been recognized with the Young Alumnus Achievement Award at Buffalo State University and the Leadership Excellence Certification for my professional achievements, community service, and service to the college.
