As one of the big 4 bank of Australia CBA is highly motivated to utilize cloud technologies and implement AI solutions. I have design and develop a modular AWS native CICD solution that can easily handle multi tenants development environment and allow development and deployment flow smoothly across the project. I have developed number of serverless component as well as a python utility library to be used across all components in another Project.

Garvan is a trusted Australian research facility with a focus on genetics and personalised medicine. Motivated by the concept of “Infrastructure as Code” on the cloud, I was responsible to create CAP which is “Analysis As Code” for distributed genomic processing. It allows users to describe the analysis rather than directly write codes. CAP then execute the analysis using all existing tools and utilize given computational resources. While CAP is compatible with all the customised semi-structured genomic formats, it also follows the standard big-data architecture to be integrated and utilize the existing big-data platforms. I have been also involved in incremental processing (streaming-like) of DNA-sequencing data for an increasing number of samples.

CSIRO is one of the largest research organisations in Australia. It is expanded in almost every scientific field and motivated to bring science to industry. Transformational Bioinformatics consists of passionate young researchers employing AI on cutting-edge genomic technologies such as CRISPR (Gene Editing). My project at CSIRO was to evaluate the performance of an AI-driven and Cloud-based platform called VariantSpark (written in Scala with a Python interface) in breaking the secret of complex genomic traits and diseases.
