I monitor and interpret heart rhythms for patients before and after heart surgery. I order office and medical supplies for Telemetry and ICU units. I had the opportunity to open the new Cardiothoracic Telemetry Unit. I ordered forms, office supplies, medical and office furniture, medical equipment, and organized the unit which best worked for the staff. I interacted with the Cardiothoracic Surgical Team and other interprofessional members while planning and organizing the new Telemetry Unit.

I monitor and interpret heart rhythms on a Med Surg/ Telemetry Unit. I floated to other units including ICU to monitor the patients in those units. I would go around to all the units to relieve the monitor techs for their morning, lunch, and evening breaks.

I monitored and interpret the patient's heart rhythm in the Telemetry Unit and Medical-Surgical Unit. I would interact with the medical staff and assist the secretary with phone calls and call lights.

I assisted patients and nursing in their needs. I made monitored their vital signs and monitored any output from their devices. I monitor and interpret heart rhythms, monitor blood pressure, and oxygen saturation level for the Step-Down Unit. I trained over 30 new Monitor Techs for Cardiology Telemetry Unit as well as other units.
