I enjoy working for Valor I was welcomed with open arms. As my previous jobs I always want to make a difference. I feel that is my success when I can make a difference. Although I have been in healthcare for over 26 years this is the first time I work for Hospice. I have learned so much about Hospice. Hospice can be a scary word for so many but there are so many people that are not educated on the benefits that Hospice has to offer for the patient and families. Hospice not only offers medical care but also Spiritual Care, Social Work , Volunteer Services and Bereavement Care . I work with wonderful, compassionate and caring people.

Since I was a child I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare. I wanted to make a difference. After 20 years at Concentra I left to manage MBI a local family owned occupational practice. I was able to assist with relocating several clinics throughout Arizona and also open a few clinics throughout Tucson. I built a great team and did my best to mentor and coach. I enjoyed my time at MBI but really needed a work life balance. I analyzed what I really like about my job and I always liked the HR part of it. As a manager we wear many hats and you never know which hat you will be wearing. It felt really good to be part of the growth of the company and I felt I made a difference.

Since I was a child I always had a great passion for healthcare, I have spent 20+ years with Concentra Medical Centers. I started with Concentra while still going to school. I really liked the adversity that Concentra has. I also had the opportunity to grow within Concentra. I started my career as a front office staff then moved into assistant management. Then I got to the opportunity to manage my own center which I did. I managed one of the smaller centers and after two years I got the opportunity to run the largest center in Tucson. Within in these years I have learned strategic management. I assist with sales and account maintenance and work closely with my Account Executive. I also meet the needs of our center and manage expenses that will not have a negative impact on my center. My skill set includes both sales and management experience. As a corporation we provide great service and continue to focus on our clients and patient care. I am a highly motivated and drive results. Through my experience and extensive industry knowledge, I have established a great relationship with patients and clients. I have built a great team for my center with minimal or no turnover. I have established solid foundation for my center with staff and providers.
