Senior Project Manager
CurrentManage complex digital banking program from inception through production and ongoing support for a leading bank operating across 20 African countries. Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to assess new requirements from the bank and internal stakeholders, managing the backlog of different projects and effectively allocating resources across specialized squads using either Scrum or Kanban methodologies to optimize workflow and project delivery. Support in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and business acceptance demos. Conduct customer meetings to manage expectations, manage changes, resolve conflicts, obtain necessary approvals, and engage with internal teams to ensure alignment and collaboration. Lead weekly steering committee and account management meetings to align on project direction, address key issues, and ensure stakeholder engagement. Prepare and present weekly executive reports to summarize projects status, highlight milestones, and communicate any risks or issues that require attention. Work closely with center of excellence, data analysis, technology, and marketing teams to monitor system performance, drive enhancements, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and optimize user experience for revenue growth. Ensure compliance with organizational processes by coordinating with the QA team to reinforce quality standards and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
