Scientific Advisor: T. F. GallagherExperimental research in atomic optics and strong field physics. My duties were that of an optical engineer, a scientist, and a research engineer. Accomplishments:- Finished five research projects, including three independently, one in collaboration with out-of-university scientists and one as a leader of a team of doctoral students. - Systemized a novel phenomenon discovered and first-authored five publications in one of the top peer-reviewed journals in physics.- Designed a pulsed dye laser system that allowed a unique spectroscopic measurement that predefined research direction in the laboratory. - Engineered an automated experimental sequence based on more than 50 pieces of equipment that performed measurements and collected data for online analysis and post-processing, using LabView and Matlab. - Completed a numerical and mechanical design of the state-of-the-art microwave cavity that paved a way to a previously inaccessible regime in an exploration of Na atoms.
