As an Architect I work in the Construction Industry and am involved with Designing new Buildings, extensions or alterations to existing buildings.I can work on individual buildings and can be responsible for the design of the surrounding landscape and spaces...Being an Architect I work closely with my clients and users to make sure that projected designs match their needs and are functional, safe and economical. I usually control a project from start to finish and work with a number of construction professionals, including surveyors and engineers, producing drawings and specifications for the construction team.Architect registered graduate with more than 1 years of experience; has overall project management responsibility for a variety of projects or project teams, including client contact, scheduling, and budgeting.Responsibilities include:Conceptual Designing, technical development of projects, Design development and creating technical solutions for the same.Work activities include:• discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project;• consulting with other professionals about the design of an environment;• preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client;• advising the client on the practicality of their project;• using IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design software;• producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications;• specifying the nature and quality of materials required;• negotiating with contractors and other professionals;• project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors;• regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget;• resolving problems and issues that arise during construction;• ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is managed.

As An Architect Graduate from NIT Jaipur...Assisted Senior Architects in the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction and/or alteration of buildings.Duties Involve:• Compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.• Preparation for plans for existing buildings where plans are not available.• Conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information as to space and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary to the preparation of drawing.• Preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.• Assisted in preparation of design development drawings.• Preparation of record drawings on completion of construction.• Assisted in preparation of layout and draws preliminary sketch of project to present to client.• Assisted in developing and/or coordinating development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for project has been obtained.• Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors.• Reviewed work of contractor, verifying specified materials are being used, dimensions are as drawn and quality is according to contract document.• Provided support to Senior Architects and management staff.
