I have been working in the information security and technology fields for the past ten years and was responsible for dozens of projects in network security, operating systems security, disaster recovery and contingency plan, security policy development, risk analysis and security awareness. My experience includes design, implementation and project management, including coordination of medium sized teams.Besides consulting, I also have been involved in the educational sector, being responsible for preparing hundreds of information security professionals in more than twenty countries through official CISSP CBK Review Seminars organized by (ISC)2 and MCSO (Modulo Certified Security Officer) trainings in the Brazilian market. I am able to teach in English, Spanish and Portuguese.As I writer, I organized and have been co-author of the Guia para Formação de Security Officers, Volumes 1 and 2, the biggest books about Information Security originally written in Portuguese. Besides that, I have written a chapter on Deep Packet Inspection for the Information Security Management Handbook, 6th Edition. This book is organized by Hal Tipton and Micki Krause, and is an international bestseller, considered one of the most important books on Information Security Management.Since 2008, I also have been working as Associate Editor of the Information Systems Security - The (ISC)2 Journal.
